unemployed

This week I have been unemployed, and have been sooo happy - not because I'm jobless, but because I don't have to work crazy hours for crazy managers!! On Tuesday I heard from the boss of the company I interviewed with a couple of weeks ago (the credit collection/law office). They want me as an Administrative Assistant, and I couldn't be happier! The company seems really solid, and I already know I'm going to like the environment, which is really important to me when it comes to my job. I start on Monday (which just happens to be my birthday).

I have been sooo extremely tired this week. I've taken a nap every day since Monday (or possibly Sunday), and I don't know what my problem is! I don't know if it's simply the fact that I CAN take a nap, so it just happens, or what. I really hope I'm not this tired when next week rolls around and I'm supposed to be starting my new job...

This Sunday I'm playing a special musical number in sacrament meeting. I'm a little nervous because I haven't really played the piano consistently since at least high school, and I'm really out of practice. I was practicing at the church a couple of days ago, though, and everyone that heard me practicing said it was beautiful, so hopefully it goes well and I don't completely botch it.

Scott and I are still ships passing in the night...I thought it would be better now that I'm not going to work at all hours of the night, but I still feel like I never see the boy! This weekend should be fun though. We don't have any plans yet except we're planning on going to the temple Saturday. It will just be nice to spend some time with him! And we haven't been to the temple together for a few weeks, so that will be reeeeally nice too.

Oh, we got conned into a meeting with Primerica this week...that was exciting. TWO HOURS of learning about their pyramid scheming sales techniques. It seems like an alright company I suppose, but I was REALLY not interested and I don't think Scott was either. No offense to anyone who has, does, or ever will sell Primerica, but no thank you. lol.

I'll let you know how the new job goes next week!
