Recap

I'm sure all of you have been dying to see what I would post next. Well, nothing too exciting...a funny story, a recap of my baby shower, and a couple of new baby (belly) pictures...so here goes!

Today at lunch I was going to make (translation: open a can of) chicken noodle soup because I got sick (again). Scott came home and wanted chili, so as we were each opening up our cans, he says to me, "you seriously want to make noodles and chicken to put in that?" Of course I looked at him like he was crazy because making chicken noodle soup is easy when you're just opening a can...Apparently he didn't realize that the chicken and noodles are included in chicken noodle soup. Glad I could teach him something today. Ha!

Last weekend Natalie threw me a baby shower. It was so fun to see everyone, and cute little baby Fiebs got so many cute things! I'm getting more and more excited to meet the little man. At the baby shower Nat had some cute games like guess how big Brooke is! That was a fun one......Lol it actually was really fun though. I'm so lucky to have her for my sister though; she went all out on the games and the food and even made the cutest party favors:

Baby included!!

I was so happy that so many people could come, and for those that couldn't, I wish you were there! And feel free to come by and visit us before and/or after the baby's here.

As promised....bump pictures! I know I say this every time I see a picture of myself pregnant, but I can't believe how humongous I am! And I still have a month to go!!

P.S. It's okay for me to say that about myself, but today a girl in my ward called me fat and it actually got to me......so keep it to yourself!
This was a couple of weeks ago--at 34 weeks.
And this was me yesterday. Officially 36 weeks!! (And a sneak peek of our still-to-be-finished baby room paint job. Don't worry, pictures of that are still to come!)

  1. I think you look great, Brooke. Just looks like you have a little basketball in your belly. And I'm loving the paint job in the nursery. Can't wait to see the finished project!

  2. so I am happy I found your blog and that I can return the favor of stalking =).

Funny story about those bottles that were given as favors at your shower:

I was at work the other day and the bottle was on my desk empty after I had finished eating the contents and one of the students I work with comes to visit me and talk to me about something. Well she see's the bottle and she looks at it, then at me, then back at the bottle, then back at me. I start to notice this odd staring pattern so I ask her if everything is ok and she said " Is that a baby bottle?" I told her yes, and then was going to attempt to explain why I had it but she then said "ssshhhh!".

So I stopped talking and just stood there for a few moments and then finally asked her why we were being quiet. She then proceeded to tell me "I'm trying to listen and hear your baby, because obviously your hiding it somewhere in this office". I could not stop laughing....you know me, and how much I like to put babies in cupboards or drawers because find the baby is my favorite game to play.
