Duncan--6 months

Here's our most recent picture of Duncan from this last weekend.  We made a quick trip to Evanston and saw Scott's parents and my parents.  Duncan gets loved on a lot when we go to Evanston.  Someone is always holding him and kissing him and we all love it!

I cannot believe Duncan has been here for a half a year!!  It feels like he should still just be my little cuddly newborn, but he's not very cuddly anymore and he loves doing his own thing.  He is such a good baby and I can't believe how lucky I am.  Here's an update on some of the things he's been doing lately:

He rolls from his front to his back (more often than not it surprises him).
He puts himself down for naps and bedtime!
He eats like a champ and has tried all of the first baby foods.
He laughs all. the. time.
He's so smiley to everyone.
He loves watching other kids--but if they are too loud he'll start crying.
He loves his Daddy and laughs and smiles at him all the time.
He stands as much as we will let him!
He can sit up on his own (for a short while).
He still has a bald spot on the back of his head, but you can't tell because he's practically bald everywhere else too!
He loves music (music during sacrament meeting, primary songs at home, funny folksy songs on Pandora, hip hop in the car--he loves it all).
He drools a LOT.
He holds his own bottle when he's eating.
He loves dancing around with his crazy mom!
He only needs his binkie when he goes to bed/nap.
He is the cutest baby ever!!
He will chew on anything he can grab (hair included).
He loves to jump!
He is such a flirt.

Scott and I can't imagine life without Duncan.  We love him so much.
