Easter is my favorite holiday. I think it mostly has to do with being able to find fun little surprises and all the candy, but I've always liked it. I remember when I was really small, my dad and all my brothers and sisters would help me to find "treasures" in the yard that the Easter Bunny left. It was always the most exciting thing to find a bag of candy in a bush or a fun little toy by the shed.
As I've gown older I've realized the significance of Easter, and it's only made me love it more. I'm so thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ who died for us, but who was also resurrected for us so that we can live again with our Heavenly Father. I know without Him we would not be able to return to live in God's presence.
This year for Easter, Scott was the Easter Bunny. We picked out some fun things for Duncan, but his favorite things were the Easter eggs. We still have a few in the diaper bag and mixed in with his toys that he loves to pop open by biting them when he finds them. Sometimes I put cheerios or goldfish in them so there's a fun surprise when he gets them open.
Scott surprised me with this juicer for Easter! I had been wanting one for a really long time, so it was a great surprise. I've only used it a couple of times though.........I can't get into the groove for some reason!
